At the hotel, there was no vase for my sunflowers, so I repurposed a plastic water jug. God is the ultimate Restorer. He takes our struggles and divinely repurposes them to bring beauty and joy [or "new"] environment into our life that we then can share with others.

Behold,
I am doing
a new thing;
now it springs
forth, do you
not perceive
it? Is. 43:19

As for man,
his days are
like grass;
he flourishes
like a flower
of the field;
for the wind
passes over it,
and it is gone...
But the steadfast
love of the LORD
is from
everlasting to
everlasting...

We are staying in a hotel in Orlando for 3 months as we have renovations done on our house. Each day brings new discoveries of repairs that were not done correctly the first time, so the cost continues to rise. We want to be good stewards of God's money, so we have to adjust our choices. We can't do it all at once, but we can make it right for those who come after us. I bought these sunflowers at the Winter Garden Farmers Market to remind me these challenges are temporary, but God's love is forever. Just as the sunflower follows the sun, I need to follow the Son.
