May 24-30, 2026
Disciple-making is not simply a task to complete, but a way of life to embrace. It begins with going—stepping beyond comfort into intentional relationships. It grows through sharing—offering both the truth of the gospel and the story of how Christ is at work in us. It deepens in teaching—guiding others to know and obey God’s Word. It is strengthened through modeling—living a life that reflects Jesus in everyday moments. And it continues through multiplying—raising up others who will, in turn, make disciples.
As you move through these prayer prompts over the next few weeks, consider them an invitation to align your heart with God’s mission. Ask Him to shape your posture, refine your motives, and empower your obedience. Disciple-making is not done in our own strength, but through His Spirit working in and through us. May these prayers ground you, stretch you, and lead you into a faithful, fruitful participation in His work.
This week's focus: Modeling
This week's Bible reading: 1 Corinthians 11:1 and Luke 6:40
Day 1: Lord, help my life reflect Jesus in both public and private moments.
Day 2: Father, teach me to model humility, grace, and obedience as I walk with others in faith.
Day 3: Father, help me to live authentically so others see both Your strength and Your work in my weakness.
Day 4: Lord, give me wisdom to lead by example rather than by words alone.
Day 5: Jesus, shape my daily habits so they point others toward a life rooted in You.
Challenge: Draw or print out MODEL in bubble letters. Ask God what MODEL looks like for you in this season, now write what you hear and sense inside the bubbled letters. Then, spend time lightly coloring your writing as you pray for the marching orders you received.
