May 10-16, 2026

Disciple-making is not simply a task to complete, but a way of life to embrace. It begins with going—stepping beyond comfort into intentional relationships. It grows through sharing—offering both the truth of the gospel and the story of how Christ is at work in us. It deepens in teaching—guiding others to know and obey God’s Word. It is strengthened through modeling—living a life that reflects Jesus in everyday moments. And it continues through multiplying—raising up others who will, in turn, make disciples.

As you move through these prayer prompts over the next few weeks, consider them an invitation to align your heart with God’s mission. Ask Him to shape your posture, refine your motives, and empower your obedience. Disciple-making is not done in our own strength, but through His Spirit working in and through us. May these prayers ground you, stretch you, and lead you into a faithful, fruitful participation in His work.

This week's focus: Sharing

This week's Bible reading: Mark 16:5 and Romans 10:14-15

Day 1: Pray that the Lord will give you courage to share the hope of the gospel with gentleness and confidence. What do you need to lay at His feet to cooperate with Him in this work?

Day 2: Ask God to show you who in your life is spiritually searching and needs encouragement toward Him. Make a list of the names and faces that He shows you.

Day 3: Ask God to help you to share your testimony honestly, pointing others to His faithfulness and grace. Do you need to slow your rhythms in order to respond to promptings to share?

Day 4: Ask God to remove fear of rejection and replace it with trust in His Spirit to work in hearts as you share with others. Do you fear man more greater than desire obedience to God’s command to tell about Him and His faithfulness in your life?

Day 5: Ask God to help you share the Gospel clearly, simply, and faithfully. Consider practicing sharing the Gospel with a friend or family member.

Challenge: Draw or print out SHARE in bubble letters. Ask God what SHARE looks like for you in this season, now write what you hear and sense inside the bubbled letters. Then, spend time lightly coloring your writing as you pray for the marching orders you received.
