May 3-9, 2026
Disciple-making is not simply a task to complete, but a way of life to embrace. It begins with going—stepping beyond comfort into intentional relationships. It grows through sharing—offering both the truth of the gospel and the story of how Christ is at work in us. It deepens in teaching—guiding others to know and obey God’s Word. It is strengthened through modeling—living a life that reflects Jesus in everyday moments. And it continues through multiplying—raising up others who will, in turn, make disciples.
As you move through these prayer prompts over the next few weeks, consider them an invitation to align your heart with God’s mission. Ask Him to shape your posture, refine your motives, and empower your obedience. Disciple-making is not done in our own strength, but through His Spirit working in and through us. May these prayers ground you, stretch you, and lead you into a faithful, fruitful participation in His work.
This week's focus: Going
This week's Bible reading: Matthew 28: 19-20
Day 1: Reflect on what it would look like to live a life aligned with God’s mission to go make disciples. Ask Him for His heart and direction.
Day 2: Talk to God about being rooted in Him as your source and strength which enables you to go where He sends you.
Day 3: Ask God to give you boldness to invite others into a deeper commitment to Him.
Day 4: Ask God to help you go sow and water seeds of faith.
Day 5: Ask God to help you go, trusting Him with outcomes of those whom you disciple.
Challenge: Draw or print out GO in bubble letters. Ask God what GO looks like for you in this season, now write what you hear and sense inside the bubbled letters. Then, spend time lightly coloring your writing as you pray for the marching orders you received.
