November 23-29, 2025

In a world that moves quickly, gratitude invites us to slow down and notice. To notice is to awaken our hearts to the quiet ways God is present—in the ordinary and the extraordinary, in beauty and in difficulty, in silence and in song. When we practice noticing, we begin to see that every breath, every relationship, and every moment is touched by divine grace. Over the next few weeks, lets seek a deeper awareness of God’s goodness and presence in daily life. As you notice and reflect, may you discover that thanksgiving is not only a season, but a way of seeing—a continual act of worship and wonder.

This week's Bible reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Day 1: Notice how Scripture speaks differently to you today than it has before. Write down one new thing that you discovered.

Day 2: Notice how God has answered a prayer whether large or small that you may have forgotten. Give thanks to God for His faithfulness. Write it down to help you remember.

Day 3: Notice the rhythms of your day. What do you do each morning, noon, night? How is God present in each one?

Day 4: Notice how God is at work in a difficult situation. Is it your set of circumstances or that of a family member or friend. It is written that we should give thanks at all times and in all circumstances. Give Him thanks right now.

Day 5: Notice a child’s laughter or wonder and thank God for childlike faith. Does that kind of faith show up in your life? If not, why?
